WOMEN IN ACTION
MISSION
“Women In Action” is a foundation that provides women with skills and techniques to express themselves while embracing “Who They Are.” By learning how to communicate effectively, embracing their feelings, and learning how to communicate them respectfully through individual and group activities.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
The W.I.A. Mentoring curricula uses content and activities that women will use to learn skills through community and building healthy relationships to help them discovers ‘Who They Are” and learn to understand themselves and others.
Women will learn the importance of embracing their differences and focus on improving themselves, instead of focusing on others' issues while building emotional skills and relationships.
Women will learn how to develop strong relationships with people in their lives by learning to be accountable for their actions, respect for others, and embrace the beauty of “Who They Are.”
